14 Posts in One! (for real)
Been a while! To be honest I don't even visit the blog myself lately. Mainly because at first I didn't know what to put up next, after that too much happened so updating it all would take too much effort. And also the last post deserved it's time in the spotlight!
But today I feel like writing something. So what I'm going to do is that I'm not going to write in depth about anything in particular about the last month, just put a summary here so I actually catch up with time!
So let's jump back about a month in time, starting from christmas.
091224 Christmas Dinner at Tobbe's place
091225 Ice Skating in Akasaka > Dinner > Karaoke
091229 Bowling!
091230 Mom arrives in Japan, Shibuya, Harajuku,
091231 New years eve!
Not really particularly celebrated here, we had dinner in my guest house and I went to sleep around 1o clock. There were no fireworks at all. People here celebrate the days after by going to shrines and temples.
100101 Ooden onsen, Odaiba
Passed Asakusa on the way to get a touch of the new year celebrations
Catched the boat from Asakusa pier to Odaiba
And finally reached our destination the Ooden onsen
This place is just fantastic. It has everything. I would recommend anyone going to Tokyo to go to this Onsen, even if you are just staying for a short while. You get dressed in a Yukata and then roam around freely and do whatever you like. We tried a sand bath and something called Dr. Fish. Basically this is small fishes eating dead skin of your feet. And you have to sit still. Pure terror. Screamed like a 5 year old before i finally got used to these disgusting small things.
After this we went to Roppongi and watch the night view of the city from Mori tower.
100102 An Audience with the Emperor
No shit! Spawns 2 times a year, HNM
The usually closed part of Tokyo Imperial palace gardens opens up for people whose family does not heritage from a god. In other words the common public. And it's not with a small amount of security this happens. They even asked my mother what her chewing gum's were, when they obviously looked like normal chewing gums and couldn't be anything else.
The amount of people this happening draws is just crazy. Calling it religion wouldn't be too far from it.
After waiting for actually not to long. Behind sniper rifle/rocket-lanucher/nuclear bomb-proof glass he appeared!
Held his speech and just left. But you could feel the aura. This is probably, even though he has no political power, the mightiest person I've seen with my own eyes. And I've seen Michael Jackson!

Self explanatory!! Pimp my room. Then some standard Izakaya.

Wow~
100108 Yokohama
After we went to Yokohama we decided to end my mothers visit with a proper dinner in form of Wagyuu at a restaurant in Asakusa. This ended up the most expensive dinner both me and my mother have ever had. But if you read about it, I'm sure you will find it interesting: Wikipedia-Wagyu
Did it live up to the price? Well, It was possibly the best meal I had in my whole life, so I guess the answer is yes

Then my mother went back to Sweden and I got busy with this:
I'm bashing this game to death, had nothing gotten in my way I would have finished it in 1 week to 100% Not kidding. But I save my whining to other game forums.
Then school started and its one insane jump in level. But its all good i guess. Going to try for the Level 2 JLPT test this summer.

Jag har löst allt.
Det här inlägget var långt först. Men jag sammanfattar det simpelt så här.
2009 var året jag tog allting i egna händer och vände till det bättre igen. Det var på tiden. Den ständig nedåtgående spiralen kunde fan slutat illa.
Alla tankar är utslätade. Jag har inte ett enda gammalt tankespöke som jagar mig längre.
All irritation är borta, all ilska är borta. Glöm den där arga blicken. Glöm den där ständigt irriterade personen. Jag har tagit tillbaka min sinnesfrid.
Det föregående året är en sådan personlig seger att det inte går att sätta ord på det.
Det finns en liten skara människor där hemma som funnits där hela tiden. Ni är riktiga hjältar och jag är övertygad om att ni vet vilka ni är.
Det är utan sarkasm eller överdrift jag skriver det här.
Mer personligt än så här blir det inte, och nu kommer bloggen rulla på som vanligt igen.
Med den skillnaden att jag känner mig helt reparerad igen, precis som innan allt började rasa där i mars 04.
